There are important things you need to know

  • If WiFi GoPro only lives when Airplane Mode "ON" and GoPro Wi-Fi connection break off, then there are applications on your device that conflict with GoFro WiFi app like Onavo, APN OnOff, APN-Switch and Snappli. The solution you have to remove these applications and try again, because WiFi on GoPro not to connect to the internet.
  • There are some Android features that block the GoPro Wifi connection to devices like the "Check for Internet Service" menu on Galaxy S3, the solution of which you have to turn it off.
In Galaxy Note 3 and Galaxy S4 there is a menu "Smart Network Switch / Auto Network Switch" which can search WiFi network automatically. When detecting WiFi GoPro, the connection will be disconnected because WiFi Gopro is not an internet router so the device will detect it as "No Internet Service" which will then be disconnected. The solution you have to turn off the feature.
